Marina Mandalina occupies a peninsula on the south-eastern edge of Šibenik, walking distance from shops, and about 40 km from Split Airport. Run by D-Marin, it combines a charter marina with a superyacht section, plus a 50-tonne travel lift, a shipyard, a chandlery, restaurants, a supermarket, outdoor pools and 24-hour CCTV security. Šibenik is a year-round Croatian port of entry, so foreign yachts can clear in in town. The UNESCO-listed Cathedral of St James and Šibenik’s fortresses are close by. From the marina, boats head up the Krka river to Skradin and the Krka waterfalls, out to the islands of Zlarin and Krapanj, and on to Kornati National Park and the rest of the Šibenik archipelago.
