Ao Po Grand Marina is on Phuket’s east coast at Pa Khlok, at the southern entrance to Phang Nga Bay. It offers 24-hour access with no tidal restrictions: depth is 3 m on the inner berths and 7 m on the seaward side of the outer docks. The 230-berth marina takes superyachts up to 499 tons and has shore power up to 400 A, a deep-water fuel dock, trailer-lift haul-out to 100 ft, a hardstand, repair shops, restaurants, bars and a pool. Bareboat and crewed charter fleets are based here, and the bay’s limestone islands begin almost at the marina entrance. Popular routes include day trips to Koh Hong, the sea caves and James Bond Island. Longer cruises go to the Koh Yao islands, Krabi’s Railay and Phi Phi.
