Marina Kaštela lies in Kaštel Gomilica, in the middle of sheltered Kaštela Bay between Split and Trogir, with the Kozjak ridge behind it. It is a large charter base with 420 sea berths and about 200 dry berths, protected by a breakwater roughly 500 m long. Facilities include a fuel station, water and power at every berth, showers, Wi-Fi, two restaurants, a café, a sailing centre, a 25 m indoor pool, and a boatyard with a 60-tonne travel lift and a crane. Its big advantage is Split Airport, only about 7 km away, which keeps changeover days short. Weekly charters usually cruise Šolta, Brač, Hvar and Vis, and the old towns of Trogir and Split are close by.
